A few weeks ago I went to Brooklyn for a week of vacation. I promised myself I'd unplug so I could hear what my own thoughts were without all the noise. While there, the entire American political landscape changed….in my direction. I returned understanding my assignment, so to speak.
In response, I am moving my reflections on the environment and its effect on the creative process over to Substack in a blog called A Burning Ember. It feels more relevant to put these reflections in a place where there is a lively and broad exchange of ideas.
My journal here will remain as a place where I will share news about music only – the songs and recordings and so on.
